As always at Autotechnique, there’s never a quiet or slow moment, with a good range of cars in over the last couple of days to keep us going.
A few small jobs to finish off today and this VY Clubby in for a re-tune. Before any tune its important to make sure all the basic settings like Throttle Position Sensor etc. are properly set, otherwise tuning can be a nightmare and the end result is a car that no one wants to drive. With the Higgins Race Heads finished off from yesterday and firmly bolted down to the refreshed LS1 this morning, it was time for it to go back in the Statesman in which it came from. From our last post from the Daily Grind this morning, our friends at Mustang Motorsport had dropped off one of their very cool Mustang Super Snakes for a re-tune. These cars have been pumped full of go fast bits like a Kenne Belle Supercharged 5.8L Ford V8; tuned with HP Tuners, it makes a ground shaking 507rwkw!!
